Sales Manager
 

Job Description:

Sales Manager will be responsible to achieve targets for sales in a territory or for a product range. He will identify potential customers, explain the features and benefits and develop a desire in the customer for the company‚Äôs products and generate an enquiry. Working with the application engineering team he will present a proposal and manage the customer relationship till an order is received.  Extensive travel is to be expected to achieve company objectives.

Desired candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be a first class graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed engineering college with at least three years of relevant experience. He will have undergone practical training with an Engineering Company. He will have worked in direct sales of industrial products, preferably involving application engineering in heavy industry. He will be self motivated and capable of working independently. He must have a high level of probity and demonstrate commitment. He must have the personality and confidence to make direct sales to customers that range from quarry owners to contractors to construction houses and mining companies.

The candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to correspond with customers in English. He will be able to produce sales reports and analysis of his territory for senior management. He must be able to manage travel into smaller towns and sometimes remote destinations.

Remuneration:

The company provides industry standard remuneration as well as generous outstation and travel allowances.
